Garden Birds
Some good species being recorded in the garden over the last few days. Lesser Redpoll seen only twice this year. Also an interesting partial leucistic Goldfinch. Daily Goldcrest is a real joy. Nice to see a Robin frequenting a nest box for the first time. I hope she makes it her home this spring

Welsh Wonders
Black Grouse lekking in Denbighshire, an approachable Lapland Bunting on Anglesey at Cemlyn Bay, Chough at South Stack and a very friendly Iceland Gull at Pensarn

New Nikon Kit!
Just spent 5 minutes playing with new Nikon D7000 and Nikkor 300mm F4 lens with Nikon TC-14E teleconverter and already impressed. These pics shot at ISO 6400 in dark garden light. Streets ahead of my old kit. Interesting leucistic Goldfinch too
Also noticed one of our Robins has a deformed foot
