Goyt Valley

 Full set of spring migrants plus calling Cuckoos. Plenty of Common Redstarts, a couple of displaying Tree Pipits but less flycatchers than last year only one Spotted Flycatcher and one pair of Pied Flycatchers

Pied Flycatcher

Finally caught up with some Pied Flycactchers today in Cliff Wood, Langsett. Also saw Redstart. I now have the full set of woodlands migrants after a previous trip to Errwood Reservoir where I had Tree Pipit, Spotted Flycatcher and Redstart plus Wood Warbler yesterday at Langsett

Wood Warbler

Errwood reservoir and surrounding woodland was superb this morning with a full list of species present and correct. Wood warbler was the real star with its wonderful quivering song. Also present were many Pied Flycatcher, Spotted Flycatcher, Redstart and displaying Tree Pipit

Masked Shrike

Wow! Mega at Kilnsea today a juvenile Masked Shrike. Also seen were Spotted Flycatcher, Pied Flycatcher, Red Breasted Flycatcher, Whinchat, Sparrowhawk, Redstart, Wheatear, Stonechat, and Barred Warbler
