Lammergeier!
Lammergeier in the Peak district! Worth the 10 miles of walking to watch this massive bird floating in the air. Also saw Hobby and Merlin

Spectacular Spain
Myself and Dave Evans had a blast in northeast Spain. Over 150 species were seen and great thanks go to our superb and hard working guide Steve West of BirdinginSpain.com for our full fat 5 day tour. Highlights were Wallcreeper, numerous Lammergeier with 7 in the air in one view on one occasion and the elusive Duponts Lark. We had great views of Bluethroat and Pin-tailed Sandgrouse and the Alpine Swifts were a joy to watch. I'm coming back for Extramadura next year although home bird Dave is not so sure unless we can find a butty shop!
