Egypt

 Three new species added on this holiday, White eyed Gull, Sooty Gull both present in Hurghada Marina including one photographed with a deformed bill. Also seen on beach a Western Reef Heron, Caspian Terns, Pallid Swifts in Cairo abundant Hooded Crows and Laughing Doves and a single Bluethroat in the gardens

 Hundreds of Goldcrest and Rewing bobbing Jack Snipe close Red throated Diver, lovely first winter Caspian Gull and a glimpse of a Pallas warbler were the highlights

Goyt Valley

 Full set of spring migrants plus calling Cuckoos. Plenty of Common Redstarts, a couple of displaying Tree Pipits but less flycatchers than last year only one Spotted Flycatcher and one pair of Pied Flycatchers

Ring Ouzel and Little Owl

 Feeling like Spring today warm, sunny and the sound of Chiff Chaff (for a week or so), Willow Warbler (locally for last couple of days) and singing Blackcap fresh in today.

Went up for the hill hoping for Ouzels and there were five plus bonus Little Owl

Garden Brambling and first Spring Migrants

 Garden Brambling last few days, couple of early Ring Ouzels and Wheatears on my local hills. Local Dippers active and displaying Common Buzzards also present locally
